Senior Film- visual development

I've been extremely busy working away on my senior group thesis film titled Hungry For Love.  The due date is so close and there's so much still left to do.  Finals always have a way of turning me into a coffee drinking zombie.  These are some visual development work for the film, and there's lots more where that came from!

Pelican fever.

The zoo was extremely crowded but the pelicans weren't getting  much needed attention so I decided to stay for a while and keep them company.

sketchbook.

Some sketchbook sketches I did recently at Old Town Pasadena as I waited for my mom to do her shopping errands. The biker I saw on the street and tried to do a memory sketch best I could, and the young woman looked so classy walking by that I couldn't pass up the opportunity to sketch her. I've learned my lesson and now I always carry my sketchbook when shopping with my mom. I easily wear out but she keeps on going and going.

Usually I'm more fixated on drawing people rather than animals so I tried to change it up this time.

I love experimenting with textured brushes.
